OMG, The Curse of Nona May Taylor is the most delightful, fun, heartwarming book filled with the BEST characters and the most loving people! It was everything a fairy tale should be: evil curses, talking animals, sweet as anything main characters, lots of magic, dark forests, danger, discovery, love.

Nona May Taylor was living her best life as a rising star in the singing world until an evil witch got jealous and cursed her, taking her voice away, turning her into an old lady, and turning her family into animals. So she and her family live in their isolated Montana cabin where Nona takes care of them.

The only hope to break the curse is for Nona to find true love, but that seems downright impossible. Even when gorgeous and kind twentysomething Charlie appears with a broken leg and needs nursing back to health. Like he’d ever fall for an old lady. But there’s something between them, and even more magic comes into play.

I had the best time reading The Curse of Nona May Taylor and escaping into this magical world of love, family, whimsy, sacrifice, and joy. Even though their situation seems hopeless, Nona and her family never let it destroy their relationships, they find humor in everything, and grow even closer. And Nona and Charlie? Perfection. I won’t say any more.
