Loved it! Temptation Trails is another Claire Kingsley small-town masterpiece. Reading the Bailey Brothers Series and now the Haven series—all set in the quirky town of Tillikum—I’ve grown so attached to these characters and Tillikum.

In Temptation Trails, talented baker and overall sweetheart Harper moves to Tillikum to help her aging aunt run her bakery. When she comes across single dad and sheriff’s deputy Garrett, the chemistry jumps off the page and you can’t wait to see where this goes. But neither wants a relationship right now—Garrett’s still hurting from his ex’s rejection, plus, his focus is on Owen, his son. Harper thinks she’s cursed and isn’t going to pull someone else into her bad luck or get her heart broken. Famous last thoughts.

It doesn’t take long for them to succumb! Add their chemistry to growing feelings, plus dealing with a killer on the loose who looks to be targeting Harper, and there’s no way these two aren’t going to be joined at the hip as much as possible. The whodunit murderer plot in Temptation Trails is woven perfectly into the romance. Then, you also get so many fabulous side characters from Harper’s newfound friends, Garrett’s huge and hilarious family, the quirky townspeople, and the murder suspects.
