Yet another obsession for me—I can’t get enough of Ashley Poston’s books! The warmth, the magic, the vibes, the gorgeous writing, the happiest, coziest feeling I got reading The Someday Garden—I want to read it again just to chase that feeling.

Brilliant horticulturalist Sophie leaves NY for Maine for the summer, heading to a beautiful, magical estate with gardens that need a LOT of TLC. She finds lots of unexplained quirks in the garden but nothing like the little blue door in an unexpected place…. It leads her into a secret garden and a ripping mad guy trapped in there. And a time warp of sorts.

I don’t want to say too much to give it away—The Someday Garden is the kind of beautiful story you need to just read, lose yourself in, feel like you’re part of the magical grounds, and go along with the flow of feelings and time. The way Sophie and Rus start connecting little by little, in big and small ways, enchanted me.

And the side characters! I LOVED the people at the estate and the sweet found family feel they brought. I don’t know how Ashley Poston does it, but the way she weaves magic and reality gets me every single time!
